Landscape Scale Delivery On Common Land: Learning From Recent Landscape Recovery Projects

Sam Burford Defra Policy Team Leader shared an update on the progress of Round 1 and 2 Schemes and candidly talked about the challenges faced in developing a new scheme.

Clair Payne from the Resilient Glenderamakin LRS and Claire Hyne from the Central Dartmoor LRS shared project updates and explained the process of applying for both the development phase and going through assurance to move to the delivery phase.

Megan Lock from the GWCT shared her experience as the ecologist and project lead in the Martin Down Super Cluster which has been delivering at landscape scale for many years.

Julia Aglionby Foundation for Common Land shared the work she has been doing to develop a good governance structure for the Resilient Glenderamakin LRS.
