B1: Hill Livestock Health

Hill Livestock Health (on six commons) will look at how Commoners’ Associations can tackle the considerable challenge of managing livestock health on shared sites. Commoners will work alongside specialist vets to design, implement and evaluate disease control programmes for their individual farms, and to learn skills such as blood and faecal sampling. Once farm health plans are agreed, the focus will switch to developing health programmes for the entire common, with buy-in from all commoners.
