It was great to see so many people attending our recent DEFRA Test and Trial update webinar and thank you to everyone who joined us and participated.
A packed agenda of presentations focused on Commons finance and governance issues with lots of tried and test advice and examples that are being fed into the development of the Commons toolkit.
Issues being highlighted through the Test and Trial included:
· the level of upfront investment needed to prepare for new agreements,
· navigating the options for developing public goods maps and
· undertaking baseline surveys.
Our other presentations looked at establishing the right Governance arrangements for your Common, planning and delivering capital works and issues around running schemes (including what to do when things aren’t running smoothly!)
