The Foundation for Common Land have been working hard to develop practical tools to help you navigate this brave new world. What we have learnt is collecting and analysing data is key to being able to get the maximum benefits from your common and moorland. For instance our SFI Moorland Digital App has been used on over 130,000 ha of Moorland. And with BPS disappearing very fast we all need to be ready to make the most of the opportunities out there whether from Defra or private finance. This work has been generously funded by Defra, FiPL and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
NB All these tools can be used on all moorland, not just common land
