Farmer William Dawson, whose family have commons rights on Ingleborough Common in the Yorkshire Dales, talks about the process of scanning sheep, which is an important step to take before lambing. Once the farmers know which ewes are carrying twins, which have single lambs, and which are not in lamb, they are able to give them optimum care.
